The details
Description
Make every tire change faster, safer, and squeak-free with RU-Glyde® Tire Mounting & Rubber Lubricant. This high-slip, water-based formula coats beads evenly, reducing mounting force while protecting rubber from tears, scuffs, and heat buildup. It dries to a skid-resistant film that won’t attract dirt or leave greasy residue, so wheels stay clean and torque readings stay accurate.
Why RU-Glyde
- Ultra-slick bead seating — easier install and demount, even on stiff low-profile and run-flat tires.
- Rust & corrosion guard — inhibits rim rust and extends wheel life.
- Quick-dry, non-flammable — leaves a dry surface that won’t fling inside the tire.
- Rubber-safe & non-toxic — water-based, with no petroleum to swell rubber.
- All-temperature performance — effective in hot shop bays or cold roadside conditions.
Ideal uses: passenger & light-truck tires, ATV, lawn-tractor & garden tires, heavy-duty & commercial tires, and TPMS & alloy wheels.

Questions & answers
Is it safe for TPMS and alloy wheels?
Yes — the non-staining formula protects finishes and won't harm TPMS sensors.
Will it swell or degrade rubber?
No — it's water-based with no petroleum, so it's safe on rubber compounds.
Does it prevent rim rust?
Yes — built-in corrosion inhibitors guard steel and alloy rims for easier future service.
What sizes does it come in?
1 gallon, 5 gallon, and 55 gallon — choose above.
How is it different from the paste?
The liquid brushes on fast for everyday, high-volume work; the paste clings to stubborn, heavy or commercial beads where a liquid would run off.
